Anaheim Ducks players will take part in a lively six-event interactive skills competition in front of their fans. Players will participate in the Control Relay, Fastest Skater, Hardest Shot, Shooting Accuracy, Power Play and Break Away Relay. Ducks radio and television personalities Steve Carroll, Kent French and Brian Hayward, along with junior Ducks correspondent Tim Marchant will serve as emcees for the Skills Showdown. Seating is general admission and on a first-come, first-served basis. Concession stands on the plaza level will be open throughout the Skills Showdown.
Season seat holders will have special access to the Ducks practice taking place at 10:30 a.m., with doors opening at 10 a.m. In addition, Ducks Executive Vice President/General Manager Bob Murray will speak exclusively with season seat holders at 11 a.m. and participate in a question and answer session.
Tickets for the 2011 Anaheim Ducks Skills Showdown are currently available for purchase at AnaheimDucks.com/skills, by phone with Ticketmaster at (714) 703-2545 or in person at the Honda Center box office. In addition, any fan who purchases a full-price ticket (at Ticketmaster.com or at the Honda Center box office) to tonight’s contest vs. the Nashville Predators at Honda Center (7:05 p.m.) will receive a free ticket to Saturday’s Skills Showdown (excludes Team Exchange purchases).
