Selanne to Participate in Training Camp

by Staff Writer / Anaheim Ducks

Teemu Selanne has signed a pro tryout agreement with the Ducks, allowing him to participate in all training camp activities (starting with today's team physicals).

Negotiations on a new standard player contract between Selanne and the Ducks will continue. He is expected to skate with the club when on-ice training camp opens tomorrow morning at Anaheim ICE (9:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.).

Selanne had 12 goals and 11 assists in 26 games with the Ducks last season.

A 10-time All-Star, his 552 goals rank 23rd in NHL history, fourth among active players. He is the Ducks’ all-time leader in points (689), goals (325), plus/minus (+117), power play goals (117), power play points (277), game-winning goals (54), and overtime goals (5).
