The Ducks are still in search of their first preseason victory following a 6-1 loss against the Arizona Coyotes at Gila River Arena on Saturday night. Now halfway through their six-game exhibition schedule, the Ducks (0-3-0) have three games remaining before the regular season opens on October 3 in San Jose.

Jakob Silfverberg scored the lone goal for Anaheim, while Ryan Miller went the distance in net, making 31 saves on 37 shots.
Lawson Crouse had two goals, while Jordan Oesterle, Derek Stepan, Conor Garland and Kevin Klima also scored for the Coyotes, who improved to 3-1 in preseason play. Antti Raanta made 27 saves through two periods, while Adin Hill stopped 13 of 14 shots in the final frame.
The Coyotes opened the scoring on the power play when Oesterle's snap shot from in tight beat Miller up high to give the home team a 1-0 lead at the 3:22 mark of the first period. Credited with the assists were Clayton Keller and newly minted captain Oliver Ekman-Larsson.
Stepan gave Arizona a 2-0 lead at the 4:51 mark of the second period with assists from Micheal Grabner and Dysin Mayo.
Arizona's lead grew to 3-0 when Crouse jammed home a pass from Keller in the slot at 8:53 of the middle frame.
The Coyotes made it 4-0 with their third goal of the second period, a breakaway goal for Garland with 4:40 remaining in the period.
Crouse used a power move to get inside positioning on Miller to roof his second goal of the game, this time on the power play to make it 5-0 Coyotes just 1:37 into the third period.
Off the ensuing faceoff, Klima gave the Coyotes a 6-0 lead just 11 seconds after Crouse's goal.
Silfverberg ended the shutout bid with a snap shot that went top shelf to make it 6-1 with 3:45 remaining in regulation. It marked Silfverberg's second goal in as many games.
These teams will meet again on Monday night at Honda Center.
