Former UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) light heavyweight champion and Huntington Beach native Tito Ortiz, who will face Matt “The Hammer” Hamill at the upcoming UFC 121 at Honda Center on Oct. 23, served as a special guest at the Ducks “Tuesday Fight Night.” He took on Ducks enforcer George Parros in a Wii boxing match to open the night, with the two fighting to a draw.

The entire Ducks roster, coaches and management were in attendance, mingling with guests and enjoying specialty cocktails and fantastic food. One-of-a-kind silent auction items included exclusive experiences such as watching a Ducks game from the General Manager’s box with Executive Vice President/General Manager Bob Murray. Guests were also able to bid on tickets to UFC 121 on Oct. 23 at Honda Center and a pair of round-trip tickets on Jet Blue.

Meet the Team also featured a silent auction filled with Ducks collectibles and Honda Center ticket packages, a live auction where guests had the chance to bid on the opportunity to Wii box against Teemu Selanne, George Parros, Bobby Ryan and Ryan Getzlaf, as well as a wonderful opportunity drawing with great prizes.

The following Ducks fans had the winning bids and got to take on their favorite Ducks:
Amanda Laughlin (Getzlaf), Karen Tran ( Selanne), Lauren Pinson (Parros) and Judith Barham (Ryan).
