Much like the first meeting of the season,
Oct. 15 at Honda Center,
the Ducks and Wild skated stride for stride for three periods, but again the Wild found the difference-making goal to earn the extra standings point.
Ryan Getzlaf collected two assists, the 706th and 707th of his illustrious career (279-707=986), to move within two points of tying Teemu Selanne (457-531=988) for Anaheim's all-time lead in scoring. Hampus Lindholm also posted two assists for his first multi-point performance of the new season.
John Gibson made 32 saves in his fourth start.
Rakell opened the scoring just over a minute after the opening puck drop. Lindholm got a point shot through traffic and the puck trickled into the slot where Rakell muscled his way to it, sweeping a bid through Wild netminder Cam Talbot's legs. Anaheim has opened the scoring in five of six games this season.

ANA@MIN: Rakell goes five-hole on Talbot

The early lead was short-lived though, as Minnesota scored twice in under two minutes to go ahead.
The first found the Anaheim net after a fortuitous bounce for the home team. Nico Sturm directed a shot from the left point that bounced off the skate of Brandon Duhaime for the rookie's first NHL goal.
Minnesota went ahead shortly afterwords when Jared Spurgeon beat Gibson with a slap shot from the right faceoff circle.
Anaheim followed suit, quickly responding with an answer of their own thanks to a nifty play by Terry. Getzlaf and Hampus Lindholm played catch along the left wing wall before Lindholm fired a shot on net that Terry tipped over Talbot's glove. The goal extended Terry's point streak to four games (2-4=6) and tied the young winger for the team lead in scoring.
The Ducks red-hot power play continued its early-season success to give Anaheim the lead in the second period. Drysdale got to the middle of the ice, firing a shot that Rakell deftly redirected between Talbot's legs for his second goal of the night. Rakell leads the Ducks and sits tied-for-eight among league leaders with four goals in six games.
Anaheim ranks second in the NHL in power-play goals (6-for-18, 33.3%) and has converted with the man advantage in five of its first six games this season.
The Wild nearly reclaimed the lead in the opening minutes of the final period, but Kevin Fiala's point-blank shot rang off the crossbar, keeping the game even.
Minutes later Anaheim had its own close call ring off the metal, as Terry crashed the crease for a rebound but had the puck find the bar and ricochet over the net.
Minnesota earned the extra point in the five-minute bonus period as Hartman raced off the bench, collecting a pass and beating Gibson with a shot over the glove.
The Ducks return home for a two-game homestand, beginning Tuesday, Oct. 26 against the Winnipeg Jets.
