The 18th annual Fedorin Cup will be held on Saturday, Aug. 29 at THE RINKS – Anaheim ICE. The charity hockey game and VIP Casino Night dinner will benefit the Athletic Sports Fund of America (ASFA) as well as the NHL’s Hockey Fights Cancer initiative, the American Cancer Society, and the USC Norris Cancer Center. A stellar lineup of current NHL players and Ducks alumni will appear in the 2015 Fedorin Cup, which has a puck drop at 4 p.m. in a ‘Team Canada’ vs. ‘Team USA’ format.
The charity game will feature past and present NHL players as well as local celebrities. Among the confirmed are Anaheim Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf and Anaheim Ducks Clayton Stoner and Sammi Vatanen. Former Anaheim Duck Luca Sbisa along with Anaheim Ducks alumni Sean Pronger, Jason Marshall, Todd Marchant, and Craig Johnson are also confirmed to play in the charity game.
The pregame party will begin at 2:30 p.m., followed by warm-ups at 3:45 p.m. Festivities also include a silent auction, postgame VIP party with casino-style gaming and appearances by the Anaheim Ducks Street Team, Power Players and Wild Wing. A variety of VIP packages for the 2015 Fedorin Cup and Casino Night celebration are available for purchase through www.ASFAmerica.com.
