Though it's the preseason, this will be a game for the history books.
Tonight, the Ducks will host the expansion Vegas Golden Knights at Honda Center for the first time in franchise history. The game will be televised on Prime Ticket and broadcast on XEPRS 1090 AM.

Anaheim enters the game with a 1-2-0 record in preseason action, ending its winless skid with a 4-2 victory on Friday at home against the LA Kings. Facing an AHL-heavy Kings squad (most of their veterans were in China playing exhibition games against the Vancouver Canucks), the Ducks erased a 1-0 deficit with three unanswered goals from Rickard Rakell, Jaycob Megna and Mitch Hults. Jakob Silfverberg added a goal late in the third period, while John Gibson and Ryan Miller split the duties in goal.
The Ducks made significant cuts yesterday and reduced its training camp roster from 62 to 44. Among them were 2017 second-round picks Max Comtois and Antoine Morand, whom the Ducks returned to their respective junior teams in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Another 12 were assigned to the San Diego Gulls, who begin their training camp tomorrow. An

Vegas (2-1-0), meanwhile, announced its lineup for tonight's game. Among the players making the trip to Honda Center are forwards Pierre-Edouard Bellemare, Erik Haula, Tomas Hyka and William Karlsson, and defensemen Jason Garrison and Brayden McNabb. Former Pittsburgh Penguins No. 1 goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury is expected to start for the Golden Knights. Vegas'
