Carl Hagelin
On the difference in the game
At the beginning of the second period, we played pretty well. We had some chances, and then we let up. It’s unacceptable, especially the way we played in the third period. We had one or two shots. That’s not enough.

On Andersen’s performance
He’s been good in every game he’s been in. He’s been our best player by far this season. It’s time for us to do better things in front of him.

On the second period
We had a couple of chances to make it 4-1, but we didn’t. They got a goal on their PK which gave them momentum. All of a sudden we’re on our heels and not making plays. Against a good offensive team like that, you know they’re going to capitalize.

Head Coach Bruce Boudreau
On the game
You can call it what you want. It’s demoralizing. We had a 3-0 lead. You shouldn’t lose the game like that. We can sugarcoat and say we ran out of gas, or whatever, but these guys are professionals. There should be no such thing as running out of gas.

On the second period
They got a power-play goal and a shorthanded goal. Once that happened, and when we went to sleep on a play, they scored a backdoor goal. The third period, it looks like we lost our composure because we couldn’t make a play to get it out of our end. We make a terrible play on a controlled forecheck, and they end up winning the game.

On Andersen’s performance
He’s kept us in every game. He’s been great, but we’ve scored five goals in the seven games he’s played.
