Corey Perry

On offensive struggles
It’s something we really haven’t gone through, at least since I’ve been here. It’s tough. We did a lot of good things, but it’s those second opportunities. You have to give credit to them. They blocked a lot of shots. It’s going to break, and when it does, it’s going to feel good.

On generating scoring chances
It’s a positive. At the end of the day, we lost 3-0. You can get as mad as you want, but you have to go out there and do it. All we need is one bounce. It’s going to be a shot off someone’s rear end, or off their skates or sticks.

Carl Hagelin

On battling frustration
We have to understand we’re a team with a lot of guys who can score goals. You have to look back at those moments. All it takes is one shot. One lucky bounce. Once that happens, it should be a snowball effect.

On offensive struggles
The first two or three games, we didn’t get enough pressure in the offensive zone. We weren’t in sync and we didn’t get a cycle going. Tonight, we got a lot of shots. We were there. It’s just the small details.

Head Coach Bruce Boudreau
On the game
From beginning to end, there was no quit in this team. It’s pretty disappointing for everybody. There is nobody in this organization that is happy right now. I saw signs of pulling out of it. I firmly believe if we get one goal, we’ll get three or four. Right now, it’s just a struggle to score.

On offensive struggles
I told the players you have to hang in there. When it gets down to the lowest time, and then you pull out of it, it’s amazing how you turn things around and go the other way. As long as we keep pushing forward and feeling defiant and being mad instead of feeling sorry for ourselves, I think we’ll be OK.

Francois Beauchemin

On tonight’s game
We gave up six goals at home. That was a little bit embarrassing so we wanted to make a big statement when we came here. Have a good 60 minutes, which we did. The guys worked hard and we got some good penalty kill. They had some chances and our goalie made the big saves.

On the adjustment from Anaheim to Colorado
It’s been good. It’s a great group of guys. There are a couple of veteran guys and a lot of young guys with a lot of skill offensively. I’m still trying to learn and be solid in our defensive zone.

Nathan MacKinnon
On the game
This is a big game for us. We wanted to get out to a good start. It’s always fun to score a big goal like that early, it turned out to be the game-winner and we really locked it down I thought.

Reto Berra
On his performance and his confidence
The biggest thing about confidence is to have success, to have wins. I got my first game here and I got a win here on the road. It feels good.

On his team’s penalty-killing efforts
The guys played great in front of me. I don’t know how many blocked shots. A couple of times I thought I was beat, I couldn’t find the puck. I tried to find it, but I couldn’t find the puck and the guys blocked shots two times. Both saved me, so I was also lucky today. But for big wins like that, you need luck.

Head Coach Patrick Roy
On his team’s defensive performance
The tracking was phenomenal tonight. We wanted to make sure that we play well in our zone and we’ve got great leaders in this room. Guys knew that we had to play better defensively if we want to win some hockey games and that’s exactly what we did tonight. We gave up 30 shots, but a lot of them came from outside. We defended really well.

On his team
I’m very proud of our players. They showed a lot of character and they showed that they want to turn our season around after the last game and we had to come up with a big performance.
