On the game
We’re going to flush it and move on. That’s all you can do on these nights. Burn the tape. Move on. Get ready to play the next one because tonight was embarrassing. It was terrible

Head coach Bruce Boudreau
On the game
I think the team was embarrassed on national TV, and you’re playing a team that’s right behind you in the race for being number one. We looked more like number 30 than we did number one. But, it’s over. It’s a good old-fashioned butt-kicking. We couldn’t look at anybody who was really good. We were all in the same boat. Hopefully we’re a lot better on Tuesday.

Cam Talbot

On the game
I wasn’t too happy with the two goals that went in. We were playing well up until that point. We were able to bury three quick goals. Like I said, I wasn’t too happy with the two goals that went in, so I just tried to settle myself down and focus on making the next save and not giving them any momentum to move forward.

Head coach Alain Vigneault

On the game
Our guys have in the past proven they can get on the score sheet. Lately we’ve been competing in a lot of tight checking one-goal hockey. Every game is different. Tonight our goaltender was better than their goaltenders. Cam [Talbot] made some big saves at the right time. We got their goalies a little bit off tonight.
