Ryan Getzlaf
On tonight’s game
Tonight was not a good team effort at all. We’re very disappointed in our effort tonight.

On if fatigue set in at the end of the road trip
Yeah, but at the end of the day, those are excuses. Those are things everyone goes through and has to be a part of. I’m not going to make any excuses for our group.

On regrouping for Monday’s game vs. San Jose

We’ll just get ready to play. We’ve been in this situation before where we’ve been embarrassed and we’ve responded. I’m looking for the same on Monday.

Head Coach Bruce Boudreau
On tonight’s game
They weren’t self-prepared. We told them they were going to come out in the first five to ten minutes, but we weren’t ready.

On if fatigue factored into tonight’s game

When you raise the bar, any defeat is a bad defeat. We just didn’t see the compete level in our boys today. We can make up hundreds of excuses of fatigue or injuries, but we’re not used to it and we don’t use those things. I didn’t think we played anywhere near our capabilities tonight.

On Ilya Bryzgalov
It was his first game. Sometimes you have to stay in there and face the medicine. He needed a 60-minute game and he played it. Freddy [Frederik Andersen] has been playing so much, I wasn’t going to put him in a game that, in the end, I didn’t think we were going to win. It was Bryz’s game to win or lose.
