Matt Beleskey
On his goal
They had a really good second period and came out hard in the third. It was a great play by Ricky [Rickard Rakell], who won a battle along the wall and made a nice pass to me. I just put it in.

On rebounding after a loss on Tuesday
Good teams never want to lose two in a row. That’s a big goal of ours. We came out tonight. Freddy [Frederik Andersen] played great tonight and we played a sound game all night. We got two good points.

On Andersen’s performance
He’s got 20 starts in a row and he’s been playing awesome for us. He’s huge in there and was a big part of our win tonight.

Head Coach Bruce Boudreau
On tonight’s game
We were really good in the first period and sat on our heels a little bit in the second. But when they tied it up, we went right after them and got the next one. Once we got the lead, we frustrated them pretty good.

On rebounding after a loss on Tuesday
Our resiliency has been great all year. We were down to four defensemen at one point in the third period, but we kept making simple plays. And when we did make a mistake, Freddy was there to stop it. No team wins without good goaltending. When you get good goaltending, and we play the way we do, we’re usually successful.

On being 11 points up in the Pacific Division
We’d like to make it 13 tomorrow. It’s good doing what we’re doing, but we have to keep pushing. It doesn’t take long to get back in the pack. We’d prefer to stay where we are.
