Perry Named to Team Canada for World Championship

Ducks winger Corey Perry is among the first group of 15 players to be named to Team Canada for the IIHF World Championship, to take place in Cologne and Mannheim, Germany on May 7-23.


Perry, who had 27 goals and 49 assists in 82 games with the Ducks this season, won gold (along with Ducks teammates Scott Niedermayer and Ryan Getzlaf) for Team Canada at this year's Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

Former Duck Francois Beauchemin, now with the Toronto Maple Leafs, was also named to the World Championship team.
