Notes on First Round Pick Brayden Tracey's NHL Debut

by Ducks Staff / AnaheimDucks.com

Brayden Tracey (29th overall in 2019) made his NHL debut tonight vs. the Detroit Red Wings at Honda Center. He becomes the fifth Ducks first round draft selection from the last three drafts (2019, 2020 and 2021) to appear in an NHL game, joining Trevor Zegras (ninth overall in 2019), Jamie Drysdale (sixth overall in 2020), Jacob Perreault (27th overall in 2020) and Mason McTavish (third overall in 2021).

Anaheim leads all NHL clubs with five players selected in the first round since 2019 to play in the NHL, ahead of New Jersey (3), Los Angeles (3) and Colorado (3). In addition, each of Anaheim's last 17 first round picks have now made their NHL debut with the club (13 drafts, since 2009).
