The Ducks announced today that the Wild Wingers Kids Club and Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC Children’s) have partnered for the ninth annual Kits for Kids Donation Drive, giving Ducks fans the opportunity to purchase Kids Club Kits for CHOC Children’s patients.
“Our fans have answered the call for this donation drive in larger numbers each season,” said Ducks Director of Marketing and Brand Management Matt Savant. “Hopefully this will be our best year to date, helping us to make the holiday season a bit brighter for patients at CHOC Children’s.”
Last year, Ducks fans purchased 1,200 Kids Club Kits in time for the holidays. Supporters who purchase two-or-more Kids Club Kits ($25) will receive an autographed Ducks player photo. Those who purchase five-or-more kits will be entered into a random drawing for a 14-person suite at a Ducks home game, and will receive an autographed Ducks player card. A donation of 10-or-more kits grants automatic entry into a drawing for a 14-person suite to an upcoming Ducks game at Honda Center, an autographed Ducks player card, and entry into a drawing to win a meet-and-greet with a Ducks player. A 20% discount on each kit will be offered to those who donate four-or-more kits.
CHOC Children’s patients who receive a kit will enjoy a variety of benefits, including one ticket voucher to a select 2014-15 Anaheim Ducks home game, a Kids Club 12-month hanging calendar, Ducks “Voice-Activated” light-up bracelet, a Kids Club Ben Lovejoy t-shirt, a Ben Lovejoy growth chart, and a Wild Wing bobblehead. In addition, every member receives a Wild Wingers Kids Club Membership Card, which provides discounts to the Anaheim Ducks Team Store, Queen Mary, Medieval Times, Guitar Center, The Rinks, Hockey Giant, and much more. Members also receive tickets to four parties during the season featuring Ducks players, including an opportunity to skate at Honda Center and the annual End of the Year Party with a special appearance by Lovejoy and other Ducks players.
