ANAHEIM, Calif. – The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has acquired a conditional draft pick from the Phoenix Coyotes in the 2007 Entry Draft in exchange for left wing Mike Leclerc.

Leclerc, 28 (11/10/76), appeared in 10 games with the Mighty Ducks in 2003-2004, earning 1-3=4 points with four penalty minutes. He missed the first 55 and final 17 games of the 2003-2004 season after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his left knee.

The 6-2, 212-pound winger has played in each of the club’s last eight seasons, scoring 54-78=132 points with 251 penalty minutes in 291 games.

A native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Leclerc was drafted by Anaheim in the third round (55th overall) of the 1995 NHL Entry Draft.
