Lupul Develops Infection; Out Indefinitely

by Staff Writer / Anaheim Ducks
Ducks winger Joffrey Lupul has developed an infection in his back and is out indefinitely.

Lupul had surgery to repair a herniated disc in his back on December 17 and was originally scheduled to miss 6 to 8 weeks. He is still expected to return to action this season.

Lupul, in his second stint with the Ducks after being acquired from Philadelphia in the offseason, has 10 goals and 4 assists in 23 games this season.
