Logan Harris - Jr. Duck of the Month

by Staff Writer / Anaheim Ducks
Logan Harris - Jr. Duck of the Month

Not only is Logan the youngest member of the Mite B team, he is also the youngest member of the Jr. Ducks Program.  Last week, Logan celebrated his 7th Birthday.  The following day, Logan, who normally plays forward for his team, filled in at goaltender during the absence of our normal netminder.  Logan stopped all 13 shots he faced to record the team's 2nd shutout, and the first of Logan's young career.

Logan's goaltending is not the only reason that he is the Jr. Duck of the Month.  Logan has shown steady improvement throughout the entire season.  He never misses practice and is slowing becoming one of the young leaders on the Mite B team.  Over the Christmas Holiday, Logan's solid played helped an under-manned Mite B team register a 0-1-3 record.  While on paper the record may not seem impressive, three of the four games were against teams that the Mite B's had lost to earlier in the season.

The Mite B team has shown a tremendous amount of determination throughout the entire season.  With each practice, the thirteen children on the team get better and better.  Electing Logan Harris as Jr. Duck of the Month is not only a representation of his hard work, but it is also a testament to the effort and dedication of the entire Mite B team, parents included.
