The Ducks announced today that individual tickets for 2017-18 regular season home contests will go on sale Friday, Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. PDT. The National Hockey League (NHL) club's 2017-18 home opener is set for Thursday, Oct. 5 vs. the Arizona Coyotes at Honda Center. In addition, individual tickets for all four of Anaheim's preseason contests at Honda Center will be available for purchase. The home schedule features more than 20 promotional games, including 12 all-arena giveaways as well as individual appreciation nights for the military, law enforcement, fire fighters and teachers.
Individual game tickets can be purchased through AnaheimDucks.com/Tickets, by phone with Ticketmaster at (714) 703-2545 or in person at the Honda Center Box Office. Tickets will be sold at the box office on a first-come, first-served basis. Depending on the matchup and date, individual tickets for games in 2017-18 will be available for as low as $19 per game (Terrace Value). A member of the eight-team Pacific Division (Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, San Jose, Los Angeles, Arizona and Vegas), Anaheim will have 22 home weekend dates, including 11 Friday night games, one Saturday game and 10 Sunday contests. The five-game Freeway Faceoff with the Los Angeles Kings begins on Nov. 7 at Honda Center and heads to Staples Center on Nov. 25 and Jan. 13 before returning to Honda Center on Jan. 19 and Mar. 30.
Additional highlights include Anaheim's day-after Thanksgiving game vs. the Winnipeg Jets on Nov. 24 (1 p.m. PST) along with appearances from the Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins on Jan. 17, Boston Bruins on Nov. 15, New York Rangers on Jan. 23, Chicago Blackhawks on Mar. 4, Washington Capitals on Mar. 6 and Detroit Red Wings on Mar. 16. The Vegas Golden Knights will make their first appearances in Anaheim on Nov. 22 and Dec. 27. The Ducks will also host a New Year's Eve game at Honda Center against the Arizona Coyotes.
The club will feature more than 20 promotional nights at home games during the 2017-18 season at Honda Center. The Ducks will pay tribute to Teemu Selanne and Paul Kariya following their induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame as part of "Hall of Fame Night" at Honda Center on Nov. 19 vs. Florida. A pregame ceremony (prior to the 5 p.m. PST game) will take place with Kariya and Selanne appearing on Honda Center ice together as Ducks teammates for the first time since Mar. 4, 2001, when Anaheim defeated Los Angeles 4-0 (Kariya scored two goals, Selanne had one).
The promotional schedule will also feature some of last year's fan favorites, including Angels Night (Jan. 21), S.C.O.R.E. Night (Mar. 2), along with paying tribute to our armed forces on Military Appreciation Night presented by Pacific Premier Bank (Nov. 9). The Ducks will show their support for their numerous charitable partners across Orange County with several special nights, including CHOC Night on Mar. 18 to support Children's Hospital of Orange County and OC Animal Care Night on Mar. 4 to help support the Orange County animal shelter. The team will paint it lavender on Oct. 15 to help in the fight against cancer on the team's annual Hockey Fights Cancer Night. Several new promotions include a free large 1-topping pizza courtesy of Papa John's Pizza (Oct. 9), Patrick Eaves beard giveaway courtesy of Bodhi Leaf Coffee Traders (Jan. 25) and a Ducks Cooler Backpack giveaway on April. 4.
The promotional schedule will conclude with Fan Appreciation Night on Apr. 6 and will continue a Ducks tradition of inviting a group of fans for the "Jersey off Their Backs" presentation at the end of the game.
