Increased Traffic Expected Near Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim

by Staff Writer / Anaheim Ducks
Anaheim, CA – Due to the combination of this Friday’s Angels playoff game vs. Chicago (5:00 p.m. at Angel Stadium) and the Mighty Ducks contest vs. Columbus at the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim (7:30 p.m.), the Angels & Ducks are asking fans to arrive early for both games. Surrounding streets, freeways and freeway exits may experience an increase in traffic. This increase in traffic is expected between the hours of 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Fans parking for the Ducks game will be directed to appropriately marked lots designated “Mighty Ducks parking” to alleviate overflow concerns. Such spaces will be reserved for fans with Ducks tickets that night.

“Friday will be another very exciting day for fans of both the Angels and Ducks, and we are taking appropriate measures to ensure parking availability for all fans,” said Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim President/Mighty Ducks Executive Vice President/COO Tim Ryan.
