Arena Management, LLC, the management company for Honda Center, announced today that four new branded concession locations are set to debut Oct. 13 in conjunction with the Anaheim Ducks opening faceoff of the 2010-2011 regular season. The venue announced earlier this summer the addition of Bluewater Grill, also scheduled to open October 13. These additions mark the first wave of a two-year upgrade program which seeks to offer unique new menu items as well as quick and professional service.
“We’re confident fans will see a marked improvement in our food offerings this fall and beyond,” said Tim Ryan, President and CEO of Honda Center. “We’ve worked extremely hard to take a giant first step in what is a two-year effort to give our guests the option of parking once, getting a quality meal, and enjoying the best in sports and entertainment all in one place.”
The four new concepts located throughout the arena will offer something for every appetite in addition to standard arena fare. The previously announced Bluewater Grill location will serve their signature fish and chips, shrimp and chips as well as their award-winning clam chowder.
• Urban Wok (Section 443) will offer freshly wok’d Chinese food with delicious chicken and beef options, fried rice and egg rolls.
• The OC Grill (Section 205) features fresh baked bread prepared on location and will serve classic Philly cheese steaks with a Southern California twist, chicken cheese steaks and Italian sausage sandwiches.
• Simply Chicken (Section 212) goes beyond tenders and fries to include a premium crispy chicken sandwich.
• The Hot Dog Stop (Sections 210, 224, 415, 421 & 437) will offer Honda Center’s new signature Top Shelf Dog, which puts a modern twist on an old-fashioned favorite. The Top Shelf Dog is an all-beef ultra-premium dog, served hot on a fresh-out-of-the-oven baked pretzel or classic style bun with onions, spicy vegetable relish and three types of mustard offered as condiment options.
Honda Center announced its two-year extensive food and beverage makeover on July 8. During the process most of Honda Center’s existing concession locations have or will receive upgrades and an entirely new visual look, including upgraded food quality, signage and uniforms.
