Finals Week

by Staff Writer / Anaheim Ducks

We're just hours away from the start of the Stanley Cup Final, also known as Two Weeks of Crippling Anxiety for Ducks Fans.

Game 1 between the Kings and Devils is tonight in New Jersey, with Devils going for the fourth Stanley Cup in their history and the Kings, of course, going for their first. (And should they get it, the bragging rights Ducks fans have had over Kings fans the last five years would abruptly vanish.)

The Kings go into this one as the favorite, as their eighth-seed status is all but forgotten after a 12-2 sprint into the Final that has included eight straight road wins. The sixth-seeded Devils, who eliminated the top-seeded Rangers in six games over the weekend, are hoping 40-year-old goalie Martin Brodeur has enough left to earn himself a fourth title. (Okay, it's not just the Devils who are hoping that.)

We're pretty sure who you're rooting for, Ducks fans (as noted on our Facebook page and further illustrated in this piece by Jeff Miller of the OC Register), but who do you think will win?
