Fans Urged to Arrive Early to Game 1 for Pregame Festivities

The Ducks announced today details regarding the National Hockey League (NHL) club’s upcoming games 1 and 2 of the first round of Stanley Cup Playoffs. Upon entry, all fans in attendance will receive a white or orange blinking light and a “Let’s Go Ducks” T-shirt for Game 1. Fans are asked arrive early to turn on their blinking lights as part of the opening video sequence during Game 1. Fans will also receive a Ducks rally towel courtesy of the playoff co-presenting sponsors: Active PDF, JMG Security, New Method Wellness and Pacific Premier Bank at every Ducks home playoff game. Fans in attendance are encouraged to bring their penalty kill horns to the game to help support the team.

The Firm Soundation Choir from the Anaheim House of Blues Gospel Brunch will be performing the Star-Spangled Banner alongside National Anthem singer Dawn Wright to kick off the first round series against the Nashville Predators. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to be part of the opening game presentation.

In addition, the Bear Brass Band will be back this postseason and will be performing pregame in “The Playoff Spot” as well as in arena during the game. Open two hours prior to every home postseason contest in 2016, all ticketed fans can enjoy the playoff atmosphere in a festive outdoor environment. Located on the North side of Honda Center, “The Playoff Spot” will open tomorrow and Sunday at 5:30 p.m. and close at game time.

With a game ticket as the only requirement for entry, “The Playoff Spot” is open to all ages. A variety of food and beverage options will be available and live music will entertain the crowd. In addition, large high-definition televisions will be located throughout “The Playoff Spot” where fans can catch Stanley Cup Playoff action from around the NHL.

A limited number of individual game tickets for the First Round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs at Honda Center (four potential games) are still available for purchase through AnaheimDucks.com/playoffs, by phone with Ticketmaster at (714) 703-2545 or in person at the Honda Center Box Office. By placing a deposit on 2016-17 season tickets, fans will have the opportunity to purchase a 2016 Stanley Cup Playoff ticket strip at a discounted rate, guaranteeing a seat for every home game throughout the postseason.
