Fans Again Encouraged to Arrive Early to Game 2

by Staff Writer / Anaheim Ducks
Fans attending tonight's Game 2 of the Ducks' Western Conference Quarterfinals series with the Detroit Red Wings are encouraged to arrive well before the 7 p.m. puck drop.

Because of the Angels-Orioles game that also begins at 7 p.m., heavy traffic is expected on surrounding streets, freeways and freeway exits between the hours of 5 and 8 p.m.

The Ducks will once again host The Playoff Spot in the Honda Center parking lot two hours prior to puck drop, as is the case for every home postseason contest in 2013. All ticketed fans can enjoy the playoff atmosphere in a festive outdoor environment. Located on the North side of Honda Center, The Playoff Spot is open to all ages. A variety of food and beverage options will be available and live music will entertain the crowd. In addition, large high-definition televisions will be located throughout the area, where fans can catch other Stanley Cup Playoff games.

Inside the arena, fans will again be provided with playoff towels and are urged to find their seats by 7 p.m. in order to see the opening video montage.

Remaining tickets for Game 1 and the rest of the series are available at, by calling (714) 703-2545 or in person at the Honda Center Box Office.
