The Anaheim Ducks will kick off the holiday season at the grand opening of the Santa Ana Winter Village on Friday, Dec. 9.

The Santa Ana Winter Village will offer a family-friendly holiday attraction right in the heart of Downtown, near City Hall at Civic Center Plaza. For over two decades, the Ducks have partnered with Santa Ana schools to teach the sport of hockey and bring students to local ice rinks. This will be the first ice skating rink ever built in Downtown Santa Ana.
The grand opening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with Wild Wing, Power Players, Street Team, In-Arena Host Sammy Donado and DJ JoJo onsite to jump start the festivities. The Ducks promotional team will also be on site on Dec. 12, 19, and 26 to offer the community multiple chances to skate in partnership with the City of Santa Ana. Visitors to the rink can also enter to win a Ducks prize pack, including a pair of tickets to an upcoming Ducks game by scanning the QR code at the rink.
Guests will have the opportunity to rent skates and test their skills at the outdoor ice-skating rink, as well as enjoy live entertainment, shopping, cuisine from local food trucks and much more. There's something for the whole family - parents and kids can ride a festive trackless train, read a story with Mrs. Claus, or simply enjoy a warm holiday treat under the magical lights of this holiday wonderland. Lucky guests may even catch a glimpse of Santa! Visit
