The Ducks will participate in the International Ice Hockey Federation's (IIHF) World Girls' Ice Hockey Weekend on Saturday, Oct. 8 at THE RINKS - Huntington Beach Inline and Sunday, Oct. 9 at THE RINKS - Lakewood ICE. As part of the global IIHF awareness campaign, local participants are encouraged to bring a friend for the one-hour street, inline and ice hockey sessions.

These special Try Hockey For Free Days offer girls the chance to learn to play the game of hockey for free. Participants will receive instruction from The Rinks coaches and Anaheim Lady Ducks coaches and players on the basics of hockey as well as learn how to skate properly. Girls will be provided with full sets of equipment, jersey and stick for the one-hour sessions.
