The Ducks will host OC Animal Care Night at Honda Center this Sunday, Mar. 26 vs. the Rangers (at 6 p.m.). The night aims to raise awareness for OC Animal Care, an open-admission animal shelter that provides temporary shelter and medical care for lost, owned or stray animals.

Fans are encouraged to visit The Hockey Spot (outside the south doors of Honda Center) from 4-6 p.m. this Sunday to receive more information on OC Animal Care's efforts and their mission to find adoptive homes for local pets. OC Animal Care will have dogs on-hand to interact with fans and will be available for adoption starting Monday, Mar. 27 at OC Animal Care.
Fans are also asked to donate pet food, toys and new or gently used towels and blankets for use at OC Animal Care's shelter. The donations can be brought to the shelter's informational booth at The Hockey Spot from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday. In addition, the Anaheim Ducks Foundation will hold an opportunity drawing to win autographed canvases featuring Ducks players with OC Animal Care dogs. Opportunity drawing tickets will be available for purchase at the Hockey Spot from 4-6 p.m. and in Section 212 once the game begins. The evening's silent auction proceeds will benefit OC Animal Care.
As part of the OC Animal Care Night activities, the Team Store will be featuring Ducks merchandise for pets as well as Cogs for Dogs apparel. Ducks forward, Andrew Cogliano has taken his love of animals and created Cogs for Dogs, a program dedicated to raising awareness for the need for animal adoption and rescue at OC Animal Care. On OC Animal Care Night, all "Cogs for Dogs" apparel and headwear purchases will receive an Andrew Cogliano autographed 5x7 "Cogs for Dogs" photo (one photo per person).
