The Ducks will host Educator Appreciation Night presented by MATT Construction this Friday, March 18 when the club hosts the Florida Panthers at Honda Center (7 p.m.). The evening will celebrate local educators, our community leaders who have continually adapted and overcome challenges during the pandemic, in addition to the greatest champions of the award-winning Ducks S.C.O.R.E. Program (Scholastic Curriculum of Recreation and Education).

The first 10,000 fans in attendance to Educator Appreciation Night presented by MATT Construction will receive a JAKGnome Silfverberg presented by Vida Divina.
During Friday's pre-game Community Spotlight, five local students will receive a canvas of their art submissions for the team's "Behind the Mask: Storytelling Through Art" helmet design contest. Lake View Elementary student Makayla Mix will watch as Ducks goaltender John Gibson wears a helmet with her design during pregame warmups. Two-time Team USA women's Olympian Molly Schaus will take part in the pregame ceremony.
Teachers in attendance March 18 can visit the Kid's Club booth outside of section 214 to learn more about the Anaheim Ducks S.C.O.R.E. program, sign-up for the educational program's newsletter and discover ways their classrooms can participate in S.C.O.R.E. initiatives.
Ducks fans and the Orange County community are encouraged to nominate educators who have made a lasting impact on their students and endured despite the pandemic. These nominees will be highlighted during the special night, including in-game, across the Ducks social media platforms and the team's broadcast on Bally Sports West.
