The Ducks will begin their selection process for the 2015-16 Ducks Power Players this Saturday, July 11, beginning at 9 a.m. The auditions, consisting of on-ice evaluations and panel interviews, will take place at THE RINKS - Anaheim ICE. The Anaheim Ducks Power Players support event presentation efforts at every Ducks home game and make appearances at various community events. The Ducks are in search of charismatic and outgoing individuals who possess excellent communication skills and are knowledgeable about the sport of hockey.
Registration will take place at 9 a.m., when Power Player hopefuls will begin the on-ice portion of the evaluation. A panel of Ducks staff members will assess each participant’s skating ability and on-ice personality. Following the on-ice evaluation, select candidates will be asked to engage in a panel interview with Ducks judges. Select candidates will move on to the formal interview process and will be contacted at a later date.
Power Player responsibilities include greeting fans, on-ice maintenance throughout Ducks home games, and assisting with on-ice and in-stand promotions. The Power Players also serve as representatives of the Ducks organization at community events, watch parties, media events and other social engagements.
Candidates should visit AnaheimDucks.com/powerplayers in advance of Saturday’s auditions to complete an online application. Candidates must be at least 19 years of age to participate in the 2015-16 Power Players auditions. Although skating experience is encouraged, it is not required.
