The Ducks have signed left wing Alex Killorn to a four-year contract through the 2026-27 NHL season.

Killorn, 33 (9/14/89), helped the Tampa Bay Lightning to back-to-back Stanley Cup championships in 2020 and 2021 as part of three straight Stanley Cup Final appearances and four total (also 2015 and 2022). Killorn scored 198-268=466 points with a +96 rating and 481 PIM in 805 career games in 11 seasons with the Lightning from 2012-23. He ranks in the top-10 among Tampa Bay franchise leaders in plus/minus (fourth), appearances (fifth), goals (sixth), game-winning goals (sixth, 34), overtime goals (eighth, 6), assists (eighth), and power-play goals (eighth, 38). He served as an alternate captain for the club each of the last four seasons.

In 2022-23, Killorn set career highs in points (27-37=64), goals, assists and power-play assists (9), and appeared in all 82 games for the third straight season (sixth career time). His 64 points marked his second straight season setting a career best in scoring and assists after surpassing his prior marks set in 2021-22 (25-34=59). Among Tampa Bay leaders last season, he ranked second in plus/minus (+18), third in game-winning goals (5), tied for fourth in points, fifth in goals and sixth in assists. He also co-led Tampa Bay in playoff goals (3), and ranked second among Lightning leaders in points (3-2=5) in six Stanley Cup Playoff games.

The 6-1, 196-pound forward also scored 37-40=77 points with 121 PIM in 140 career Stanley Cup Playoff contests in nine postseason appearances with the Lightning. He set a career high of 17 points and ranked tied for second among NHL leaders in goals (8) in the 2021 postseason to help the Lightning to their second straight championship. He recorded 5-5=10 points in 24 playoff games en route to the 2020 Stanley Cup. In the 2015 run to the Stanley Cup Final, he ranked third in points (9-9=18) and goals (9) among team leaders. All-time among Tampa Bay postseason leaders, Killorn co-leads in shorthanded points (1-2=3), ranks third in games played (140), fifth in goals, and sixth in points and assists.

Originally selected by Tampa Bay in the third round (77th overall) of the 2007 NHL Draft, Killorn also won a Calder Cup championship in 2012 with the Norfolk Admirals. He scored 3-9=12 points in 17 postseason games after making his professional debut at the conclusion of 2011-12 American Hockey League (AHL) season, earning 2-4=6 points with a +6 rating.

Killorn registered 53-56=109 points with a +7 rating and 155 PIM in 130 career NCAA games at Harvard University from 2008-12. In 2011-12 with the Crimson, Killorn scored a career-high 23 goals and 46 points to lead the club in points and goals, and rank second in assists (23). He was named to the NCAA's First All-American Team, ECAC First All-Star Team and All-Tournament Team and First Team All-Ivy League.

The Halifax, Nova Scotia native helped Canada to a silver medal at the 2017 World Championship (INSERT) and gold at the 2006 World U-17 Hockey Championship.
