The Ducks have signed defenseman Steve Oleksy to a two-year, one-way contract through the 2018-19 NHL season and center Derek Grant to a one-year, one-way contract through 2017-18. In addition, the Ducks have signed left wing Mike Liambas and right wing Scott Sabourin to one-year, two-way contracts through 2017-18. Per club policy, no financial terms of the deals were disclosed.

Oleksy, 31 (2/4/86), has collected 3-17=20 points with a +17 rating and 110 penalty minutes (PIM) in 73 career NHL contests with Washington (2012-15) and Pittsburgh (2016-17). He has also appeared in seven Stanley Cup Playoff games with the Capitals, earning one assist with four PIM. Oleksy played 11 regular-season contests with the Penguins last season, earning one assist with a +2 rating and 24 PIM.
A native of Chesterfield, MI, Oleksy owns 13-74=87 points with a +47 rating and 652 PIM in 319 career AHL contests with Toronto (2017), Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (2015-17), Hershey (2012-15), Bridgeport (2011-12) and Lake Erie (2010-11). The 6-0, 190 pound defenseman spent the majority of 2016-17 with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and the Toronto Marlies, earning 4-10=14 points with a +7 rating and 55 PIM in 36 AHL games.
Grant, 27 (4/20/90), has collected seven assists (0-7=7) with 30 penalty minutes (PIM) in 86 career NHL games with Ottawa (2012-14), Calgary (2015-16), Buffalo (2016-17) and Nashville (2016-17). The 6-3, 212-pound blueliner established several NHL career highs last season with Buffalo and Nashville, including points (0-4=4), assists and games played (46).
Selected by Ottawa in the fourth round (119th overall) of the 2008 NHL Draft, Grant has appeared in 315 career American Hockey League games, earning 99-82=181 points with a +10 rating and 196 PIM. The Abbotsford, British Columbia native has also skated in 14 career Calder Cup Playoff games with Binghamton (Ottawa AHL affiliate), registering 1-2=3 points with 10 PIM.
Liambas, 28 (2/16/89), made his NHL debut with the Nashville Predators last season, going scoreless on Dec. 3, 2016 vs. New Jersey. The 5-10, 203-pound forward spent the remainder of the season with Milwaukee of the American Hockey League (AHL), setting career highs in points (3-8=11), assists and games played (72).
A native of Toronto, Ontario, Liambas has collected 13-17=30 points with 836 penalty minutes (PIM) in 257 career AHL games with Milwaukee (2012-15, 2016-17) and Rockford (2015-16). He has also made four trips to the Calder Cup Playoffs, earning one assist with 52 PIM in 10 postseason contests.
Sabourin, 24 (7/30/92), has earned 29-33=62 points with a +12 rating and 494 penalty minutes (PIM) in 221 career American Hockey League (AHL) games with San Diego (2016-17), Ontario (2015-16), Iowa (2015-16) and Manchester (2012-15). He also spent four seasons with the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) from 2009-13, registering 46-34=80 points with a +21 rating and 330 PIM.
A native of Orleans, Ontario, Sabourin collected 8-9=17 points with a +7 rating and 147 PIM in 54 contests last season with San Diego. He concluded the season setting career highs in PIM and plus/minus, while also ranking third in the AHL in PIM. The 6-foot-3, 203-pound forward also appeared in eight Calder Cup Playoff contests with the Gulls, going scoreless with 10 PIM.
