The Ducks have signed goaltender Olle Eriksson Ek to a three-year entry-level contract. Per club policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Eriksson Ek, 18 (6/22/99), spent this season with Farjestad BK's J20 team in the SuperElit League, posting a 10-3-3 record with a 2.01 goals-against average (GAA) and .924 save percentage (SV%) in 17 games. Eriksson Ek appeared in three playoff games for Farjestad, going 1-2 with a 2.37 GAA and .925 SV%. He was loaned to BIK Karlskoga in the Allsvenskan league on Jan. 11, 2018, which is the second highest league in the Swedish system. With the club, he registered a 5-4-1 record with a 2.33 GAA and .907 SV%.
Selected by Anaheim in the fifth round (153rd overall) of the 2017 NHL Draft, Eriksson Ek was named to Sweden's Silver Medal U-20 team for the 2018 World Junior Championship. IN 2016-17, Eriksson Ek appeared in 30 games for Farjestad BK J20 and registered a 2.16 GAA and .924 SV%. He also helped Sweden's club earn a silver medal at the 2016 U18 World Junior Championship.
