Ducks Select Francis with 163rd Overall Pick in 2019 NHL Draft

VANCOUVER -- With the 163rd overall pick in the 2019 NHL Draft, the Ducks select defenseman William Francis from Cedar Rapids of the United States Hockey League (USHL). Francis, 18 (11/16/00) recorded eight points (2g/8a) in 59 games with the Roughriders during the 2018-19 season - his first season in the USHL.

The 6-foot-5, 207-pound blueliner was ranked 75th among North American skaters in Central Scouting's final rankings.
