by Staff Writer / Anaheim Ducks

ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Anaheim Ducks announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled goaltender Michael Wall from the Portland Pirates, Anaheim's primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Wall, 21 (7/25/85), has appeared in one game for the Ducks, stopping 19 of 22 shots on Nov. 26 versus Calgary en route to his first NHL win. He has appeared in eight games with Portland this season, posting a record of 6-1-1 with a 2.92 goals against average (GAA) and a .886 save percentage (SV%).

The 6-2, 209-pound netminder split last season between Portland and Augusta of the ECHL. A native of Telkwa, British Columbia, Wall played in four seasons of junior hockey with Prince George and Everett of the Western Hockey League.

Wall signed as a free agent with Anaheim on Sept. 29, 2005.
