The Ducks have recalled forward Logan Shaw from the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim's primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Shaw, 24 (10/5/92), has collected 5-2=7 points with 13 penalty minutes (PIM) in 53 career NHL games. Shaw made his Stanley Cup Playoff debut with Florida in 2015-16, playing three First Round games against the New York Islanders. The 6-3, 202-pound forward has appeared in 149 career American Hockey League (AHL) games with San Diego (2016-17), Springfield (2016-17), Portland (2015-16) and San Antonio (2013-15), earning 29-24=53 points with 55 PIM. He has also made a pair of trips to the Calder Cup Playoffs in 2015 and 2016, going scoreless in five career games.
Acquired from Florida in exchange for Michael Sgarbossa on Nov. 16, 2016, Shaw scored 4-2=6 points in 15 games with San Diego and Springfield this season. The Panthers' third-round selection (76th overall) in the 2011 NHL Draft co-led Springfield in goals and ranked third in shots on net (30) at the time of the trade.
