The Ducks have recalled left wing Nicolas Kerdiles from the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim's primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL). The club has also assigned left wing Giovanni Fiore to San Diego.

Kerdiles (1/11/94) made his NHL debut last season on Feb. 22 vs. Boston, becoming the first player from Orange County (born or raised) to play for the Ducks. He played four games in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, earning his first career NHL assist and two PIM. In four AHL seasons, the 6-2, 200-pound left winger has logged 130 games, scoring 33-42=75 points with 144 PIM.
Fiore (8/13/96), made his NHL debut on Oct. 7 vs. Philadelphia, going scoreless. A native of Laval, Quebec, Fiore recorded 52-38=90 points with 42 PIM and a +36 rating in 61 games last season with Cape Breton. The 6-1, 195-pound winger was one of seven CHL players (QMJHL, WHL and OHL) to score 50 or more goals in 2016-17, which also marked the second 50-goal season in Cape Breton franchise history. Fiore led the QMJHL in goals while co-leading in PPG (17), ranking tied for fifth in scoring, seventh in plus/minus, and tied for seventh in points per game (1.48).
