The Ducks have have reassigned right wing Corey Tropp to the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim's primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Tropp, 27 (7/25/89), did not appear in a game with Anaheim following his recall from San Diego on Friday. He has played 148 career NHL games with Buffalo (2011-14) and Columbus (2014-15), recording 6-21=27 points with 133 penalty minutes (PIM). With San Diego, the 6-0, 188-pound forward has earned 8-21=29 points with a +2 rating and 35 PIM in 32 AHL games this season. Tropp, who was acquired from Chicago in exchange for Tim Jackman and a seventh-round selection in the 2017 NHL Draft on Feb. 29, 2016, returns to the Gulls as the club leader in points, assists and power-play goals (5).
