by Staff Writer / Anaheim Ducks

The Ducks have reassigned right wing Stefan Noesen to the Norfolk Admirals, Anaheim’s primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Noesen, 22 (2/12/93), went scoreless in his NHL debut on Apr. 3 vs. Colorado, recording an even plus/minus rating in 6:54 time-on-ice (TOI). Recalled from Norfolk on Apr. 3, Noesen has scored 5-8=13 points with 23 penalty minutes (PIM) in 23 games with Admirals this season.

Acquired from Ottawa with Jakob Silfverberg and a first-round selection in the 2014 NHL Draft in exchange for Bobby Ryan on July 5, 2013, Noesen has earned 5-8=13 points with 27 PIM in 25 career AHL games with the Admirals. He has also played four career Calder Cup Playoff games, collecting a team-leading four assists (0-4=4) along with four PIM. Noesen was originally selected by Ottawa in the first round (21st overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft.
