After losing their preseason opener last night 2-1 against the Arizona Coyotes at Honda Center, the Ducks (0-1-0, 0 pts.) travel up the 5 freeway to face the Los Angeles Kings (1-1-0, 2 pts.) tonight at Staples Center.

Antoine Laganiere scored the club's lone goal in last night's loss, while Ryan Garbutt and Kalle Kossila picked up the assists. Matt Hackett (16-of-17) and Kevin Boyle (18-of-19) shared the goaltending duties for Anaheim, playing 30:49 and 27:18, respectively.

Tonight marks the second of seven games on Anaheim's preseason slate, all of which are against Pacific Division opponents. The Kings enter tonight's contest with a 1-1 record after a split-squad game two nights ago against the Coyotes. Los Angeles dropped a 5-3 final at Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona, but skated to a 4-3 victory at Staples Center.

The Kings have six players with two points thus far in preseason play, including Tanner Pearson, Teddy Purcell, Brett Sutter and Tyler Toffoli who each have a goal and an assist. Goaltenders Jeff Zatkoff, Tom McCollum, Jack Campbell and Peter Budaj all shared the reigns in net for the two games.

Anaheim's preseason schedule continues with games on Saturday, Oct. 1 (at Arizona), Sunday, Oct. 2 (vs. Los Angeles), Tuesday, Oct. 4 (at Edmonton), Wednesday, Oct. 5 (at San Jose) and Sunday, Oct. 9 (vs. San Jose - preseason finale).

Stay tuned throughout the day on for continued coverage of tonight's game.
