TOMORROW'S GAME: The Anaheim Ducks (27-20-4, 58 pts.) conclude a four-game road trip against the Columbus Blue Jackets tomorrow at Nationwide Arena (4 p.m. PST, FS West/AM 830)...the Ducks have won three of the last four games (3-1-0, six of eight (6-2-0) and gone 9-3-0 since the date of captain Ryan Getzlaf's injury (Dec. 28 at Phoenix)...that 9-3-0 record represents a .750 win percentage, which ranks second in the NHL behind Nashville (10-3-0, .769) addition, the club has gone 14-7-1 over the last 22 contests...Anaheim's current record is five points ahead of last year's pace through 51 games (23-21-7, 53 pts.)...the club was 24-21-7 for 55 pts. after 52 games last season...since the 2005-06 season, the team has a 124-69-22 combined record (270 pts., .628 win%) over the final 41 games of each season (7-3-0 this year)…following tomorrow's contest, the Ducks will enjoy a seven-day All-Star break before hosting San Jose on Feb. 2.

The Ducks are 1-2-0 vs. the Blue Jackets this season, including a 6-0 win on Jan. 7 at Honda Center…Columbus took the first two games of the season series with a 4-3 win on Nov. 19 in Anaheim and a 3-1 victory on Oct. 20 at Nationwide Arena...Anaheim is 19-16-4 all-time record vs. Columbus (9-9-1 at Nationwide Arena)...Teemu Selanne (3-1=4) and Lubomir Visnovsky (0-4=4) co-lead the Ducks in scoring vs. the Blue Jackets this season...all-time, Selanne paces all Anaheim skaters with 16-17=33 points in 31 career games...Visnovsky has an active eight-game point streak vs. Columbus (5-9=14) dating to Nov. 18, 2008 with Edmonton...Corey Perry has points in six of seven games vs. Columbus (2-4=6) while Bobby Ryan has 5-3=8 points in his last seven against the Blue Jackets.
SPECIAL TEAMS: Over the last eight games, the Ducks are 11-for-22 on the power play (50.0%)...the club's 23.7% power play conversion rate (40-for-169) in 2010-11 ranks second in the addition, Anaheim leads the NHL in home power play (24-for-91, 26.4%) and ranks ninth on the road (16-for-78, 20.5%)...on the penalty kill, the Ducks have killed 37-of-40 (92.5%) power play attempts since the third period of the Dec. 28 at Phoenix (spanning 12 games)...the club denied 18 consecutive power play attempts by the opposition from Dec. 28 (beginning in the second period) until 17:58 of the third period on Jan. 12 vs. St. Louis.
MONTHLY RETURNS: Jonas Hiller is 6-3-0 with a 2.27 GAA and .935 SV% in January, ranking tied for third among NHL goaltenders in wins, third in saves (286), tied for 10th in SV% and tied for first in shutouts (2)...among other January leaders, Bobby Ryan is tied for fourth in goals (7); Lubomir Visnovsky is tied for fourth in assists (10, tied for second among defensemen), and tied for third among defensemen in points (11); Teemu Selanne is tied for fourth in power play goals (3); Cam Fowler is tied for second among rookie defensemen and tied for sixth among all rookies in scoring, and also tied for first among all rookies in assists.
ALL-STAR EFFORTS: Jonas Hiller and Corey Perry are heading to Raleigh for the 2011 NHL All-Star Game at RBC Center on Jan. 30…in addition, Cam Fowler will make the trek as one of 12 rookies to compete in the Honda NHL SuperSkills on Jan. 29…Hiller will make his first career All-Star appearance and Perry will make his second…Hiller's .926 SV% and 24 wins for the season are on pace to break club records while Perry is on pace for a career-high 82-point season…Fowler is the only defenseman from the 2010 Draft currently playing with an NHL club and one of only five from the draft playing for an NHL club.
HILLER STANDS TALL: With Saturday's shootout win, Jonas Hiller has now denied 11 consecutive shootout attempts and 21 of 22 since Dec. 7...among NHL goaltenders in shootouts, he ranks second in shots against (26), tied for third in wins (4), and fifth in SV% (.846; min. 10 attempts)...overall, Hiller has compiled a .939 SV% (352-of-375) and a 2.13 GAA (23 GA/649 MIN) over the last 12 games (8-3-0)...among NHL goaltenders, Hiller is tied for first in wins (24-15-3), tied for fourth in SV% (.926) and shutouts (4), and leads the league in appearances (45) and saves (1,319)...over the last 22 games, Hiller has gone 13-6-1 with a 2.05 GAA (40 GA/1173 MIN) and .940 SV% (631-of-671)...he had a 178.34-minute scoreless streak spanning four games from Jan. 5-12.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS: Corey Perry leads the Ducks with 25-26=51 points this season and ranks tied for eighth in the NHL in scoring and tied for fifth in goals...Perry, who became the fourth NHL player to 20 goals this season, has increased his point total in each of his six NHL seasons and is on pace for a career-high 82-point season...Bobby Ryan has reached the 20-goal plateau (22-16=38) for the third consecutive season and ranks tied for ninth in the NHL in goals...Cam Fowler leads NHL rookie defensemen in scoring and assists, and tied for fourth in goals this season (4-21=25)...he also ranks second among NHL rookies in assists, leads average TOI (22:26), and ranks seventh in overall rookie scoring...Lubomir Visnovsky, who has points in two straight games (0-2=2), is on pace for a 67-point season, which would match his career high set in 2005-06 (17-50=67)...he is tied for second among NHL defensemen in scoring, tied for second in assists and tied for seventh in goals...Teemu Selanne's 1.02 points-per-game averages rank 11th in the NHL.

POSITIVE EFFORT: Toni Lydman ranks second in the NHL in plus/minus (+24) this season...he has earned a career-tying +3 rating on five occasions and been a plus-or-even in 41 of his 47 appearances this season...Lydman ranks third in the NHL with 124 blocked shots, leading a Ducks team that ranks fifth in the NHL and first in the Western Conference with 780 blocks...Lydman, who has 0-6=6 points in the last 11 games and 0-10=10 in 20, is on pace for a career-high 33-point season.
CLIMBING THE CHARTS: Teemu Selanne is one of 18 players in NHL history to score 600 goals and one of only three Europeans, following Jaromir Jagr (CZE) and Jari Kurri (FIN)...Selanne ranks 15th in all-time goals, 32nd in points (currently 620-683=1,303) and ninth in PPG (228)...Selanne reached the 1,300-point milestone on Jan. 16 vs. Edmonton, becoming the 32nd NHL player to accomplish the feat...with two assists on Jan. 22 at Montreal, he matched Brad Park for 54th in all-time NHL assists and is currently only five shy of tying Henri Richard for 53rd...Selanne is also one shy of 100 career game-winning goals...only five players have recorded 100 career GWG, including Gordie Howe (121), Phil Esposito (118), Jagr (112), Brett Hull (110) and Brendan Shanahan (109).
