The Ducks have named Aaron Teats President of the club. Teats continues to have oversight of ocV!BE Sports and Entertainment, which includes the Ducks, San Diego Gulls and The Rinks, while he serves as President of the Irvine Ice Foundation. General Manager Pat Verbeek will continue to report to CEO Michael Schulman with respect to player and hockey operations personnel decisions.

Now in his 27th year with the Ducks, Teats is an Alternate Governor for the club and most recently served as Anaheim's President of Business Operations, where in addition to his leadership role with the Gulls and The Rinks, he has led all ticket sales, premium seating, business intelligence, broadcasting, communications, community relations, entertainment, fan development, marketing, merchandising, publications/digital content and social networking. He also spent six years as the club's Chief Marketing Officer.

Teats joined the Ducks' broadcasting department in 1994, first serving in the club's broadcasting department. He was both a producer and director of the Ducks' television and radio broadcasts from 1997-07 and was named the club's Director of Broadcasting in 2004. He won an Emmy as producer in best live sports coverage category during Anaheim's 2003 playoff run. He was named the club's director of broadcasting in 2004 and also assumed the responsibilities of the publications/new media and entertainment departments in 2008-09.
A native of Broken Arrow, Okla., Teats is a graduate of Cal State Fullerton. He began his career in the entertainment/production department for the then California Angels in 1992. Teats is on the Advisory Council for the Boys and Girls Club of Anaheim after serving on the Board of Directors for 12 years. and the Advisory Council for Cal State Fullerton's "PRactical ADvantage" student-run advertising agency.
