The Ducks and Los Angeles Kings announced today the first joint business promotion between the two clubs with the “Freeway Faceoff Ticket Package.”
Fans can purchase the ticket package beginning Friday, Sept. 12 (10 a.m.), which includes Ducks-Kings games at Staples Center on Oct. 14 and at Honda Center on Nov. 16. A voucher for a free limited edition/collectible long sleeve “Freeway Faceoff” Shirt presented by Fox Sports WEST and PRIME TICKET is also included.
“Freeway Faceoff” packages are priced at $60 and can be purchased by calling 1-877- WILD WING or 1-888-KINGS LA. Tickets can also be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com/freewayfaceoff.
“This is a great opportunity for Southland hockey fans to see the Ducks-Kings rivalry in-person at both venues,” said Ducks Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer Tim Ryan. “We are happy to work with the Kings on this venture as both clubs work toward the continuing growth of the sport in Southern California.”
In conjunction with broadcast partner FSN WEST & FSN PRIME TICKET, the “Freeway Faceoff” launched last year, highlighting the 15-year rivalry between the two clubs. The winner of each season series receives a $50,000 donation to their team foundation (Anaheim Ducks Foundation or Kings Care) from the other club. The Ducks won the inaugural “Freeway Faceoff” by earning 12 standings points last year (6-2-0) to the Kings’ six.
