The Ducks announced on Wednesday that they have added three games to the television schedule this season, starting with this Saturday’s contest at Phoenix (Oct. 31). In addition to the Halloween night broadcast vs. the Coyotes, KDOC Los Angeles will air Anaheim’s Nov. 23 contest vs. Calgary and Dec. 3 game at Dallas. The three added games brings the total of KDOC broadcasts this year to 19. Including the 50 Ducks broadcasts on PRIME TICKET/FOX SPORTS WEST and three Kings’ broadcasts vs. Anaheim this year, 72 Ducks games will air locally this season.
“We are happy to add three games to the television schedule for this season,” said Ducks Broadcast Director Aaron Teats. “We’d like to thank KDOC Los Angeles for working with us to make this happen for our fans.”
KDOC Los Angeles is in its fifth year as broadcast home of the Anaheim Ducks. Based in the heart of Orange County, KDOC broadcasts to the entire Los Angeles television market of 5.6 million homes, drawing nearly one million viewers per week. KDOC is dedicated to providing Southern California viewers with a variety of great entertainment, from hit television shows to movies, sports, specials and more.
“KDOC is pleased to broadcast three extra games and give Ducks fans more hockey action,” said KDOC President/General Manager John Manzi.
