Ducks Host Operation Homefront Night

by Staff Writer / Anaheim Ducks
This Saturday, Nov. 7, the Ducks will host Operation Homefront Night at Honda Center (7 p.m. game vs. Phoenix). Operation Homefront provides emergency and morale assistance for troops returning home, including wounded warriors, along with the families they leave behind.

The Ducks donated tickets for Saturday’s game to members of both Operation Homefront and the Veterans Tickets Foundation. Servicemen and women in attendance will be asked to stand and be recognized and saluted during the game. The Ducks Team Store will also offer a 15% discount for fans showing a military ID.

In preparation for Saturday’s event, the Ducks are wearing camouflage jerseys during pregame warmup TONIGHT. The jerseys will be auctioned off by the Anaheim Ducks Foundation, with all proceeds benefiting Operation Homefront.

Four of the jerseys will be auctioned off live during the game on Saturday (worn by Jonas Hiller, Joffrey Lupul, George Parros and Corey Perry), with the remaining being auctioned off at AnaheimDucks.com at a later date (more info to come).
