Ducks Host Fan Appreciation Night Sunday

by Staff Writer / Anaheim Ducks
The Ducks will host Fan Appreciation Night this Sunday when the club closes the regular season vs. the Edmonton Oilers at Honda Center (5:05 p.m.). Fans in attendance will have the opportunity to win numerous prizes valuing over $60,000 throughout the evening, selected at random by seat numbers. One lucky fan will leave Honda Center on Sunday evening as new owner of a 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour, which will be awarded on the ice during the second intermission.

“Fan appreciation night is an opportunity to reward our fans for their support throughout the season,” said Ducks Director of Marketing Tracie Jones. “We’d like to thank our sponsors for helping to put together one-of-a-kind prizes for Sunday’s game.”

In addition, the club will continue with its long-standing tradition by having each player present the “jersey off their back” to a fan on the ice immediately following the game. Each player will also autograph the jersey before presenting it to the selected fan. Other prizes include a complimentary suite at Honda Center for a Ducks game during the 2010-11 season, a two-night stay in the Presidential Suite at the Hilton Anaheim and a day trip for two to San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino, which will also include a limousine ride, free play at the slot machines, dinner and tickets to a concert. Every fan in attendance will also receive a photo of the 2009-10 Anaheim Ducks when exiting the building.

Sunday’s contest vs. Edmonton will also mark the final “Hockey Spot” of the season. Open from 3-5 p.m., The Hockey Spot offers interactive hockey games and other activities for fans and their families attending Ducks games on Saturday and Sunday contests at Honda Center. The Hockey Spot is located on the North side of the building in Lot 3 of the Honda Center parking lot.

Tickets to Sunday’s game are still available and may be purchased by clicking here, by phone with Ticketmaster at 714-703-2545 or in person at the Honda Center box office. The Anaheim Ducks have three games remaining on their regular season schedule. The club will travel to Dallas (Apr. 8) and St. Louis (Apr. 9) for its final road contests of 2009-10 before the regular season home finale on Sunday.
