The Ducks organization is proud to welcome Nick Armstrong to the team, a guest of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Nick (nine years old) has a congenital heart defect, and listed his wish as practicing with his favorite team and watching a game in person.

When the Ducks learned of his love of video games, he was surprised with an afternoon of playing games with players and Wild Wing on Thursday. Nick and his family traveled from their home in Ohio for the occasion, practicing with the Ducks on Thursday alongside his favorite players, Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry. He then joined the two stars for lunch before playing video games with several Ducks players later in the day.

Tonight, prior to the game against the Edmonton Oilers, Nick was on the Anaheim bench pregame to cheer his favorite team on.

He also announced the starting lineup to his new Ducks teammates in the locker room just before the game.
