Ducks Golf Classic to be Held Monday, Sept. 15 at Dove Canyon Golf Club

The Ducks will host the Anaheim Ducks Golf Classic presented by Honda on Monday, Sept. 15 at Dove Canyon Golf Club in Dove Canyon, CA. The tournament, benefitting the Anaheim Ducks Foundation, takes place ahead of the club’s first practice at 2014 Training Camp on Friday, Sept. 19.

Registration for the Anaheim Ducks Golf Classic presented by Honda will take place at 8:30 a.m. The UC Irvine Warm-up Reception will include breakfast, live auction and a wide selection of items, including unique Southern California experiences, travel packages, live entertainment and sports memorabilia in the Pacific Premier Bank Silent Auction. Prior to the shotgun start, the Anaheim Ducks Celebrity Player Draft will take place in which foursomes will have the opportunity to draft their desired Anaheim Ducks player, coach, broadcaster or alumnus to join their group for the day. The draft will be emceed by Ducks television host Kent French, providing a lively environment for foursomes to pick their “fifth” member in the tournament.

A variety of games on the Dove Canyon Golf Course will take place throughout the day, including two Hole-in-One competitions courtesy of Honda. Participants will have the opportunity to drive off in a brand-new 2015 Honda Accord Hybrid EX-L on hole 4 and a 2015 Acura TLX (w/Technology Package) on hole 10.

Lunch for all golfers in the tournament is generously being donated by Wahoo’s Fish Taco. The day-long event will culminate with cocktails and awards at the ActivePDF, Inc. 19th Hole Reception, when the winning foursome will be presented with their own Anaheim Ducks Golf Classic orange-crested blazers.
