The Ducks will open their 2017-18 home schedule this Thursday, October 5 at Honda Center versus the Arizona Coyotes (7 p.m.). Ducks fans are encouraged to arrive early for the Anaheim Ducks' Opening Night, particularly to take part in the Orange Carpet festivities, beginning at 3:30 p.m. on Honda Center's south side. Players will greet fans as they walk the Orange Carpet and will be interviewed on stage by Ducks host Kent French.

All fans in attendance are encouraged to be in their seats by 6:45 p.m. for the opening sequence and player introductions and will receive a free promotional poster courtesy of FOX Sports GO on egress. Fans are invited to make the Anaheim Ducks Opening Night festivities interactive by using the hashtags #DucksOpeningNight and #LetsGoDucks on social media platforms. In addition, the Anaheim Ducks Foundation will conduct the first 50/50 raffle of the regular season with proceeds supporting and facilitating programs that create positive change for children and families throughout Southern California. Inspired by Kai Quinonez, who served as the inaugural "21st Duck" through his Make-A-Wish experience, the Ducks are continuing this tradition by creating a spot on their Opening Night roster for a fan who exhibits great perseverance, character, courage and inspiration. The "21st Duck" will be introduced at Honda Center on the ice with the players on Opening Night. The Anaheim Ducks thank appreciate all of the nominations submitted that were filled with dedicated fans and inspirational stories.
Following Thursday's contest versus the Coyotes, the Ducks will face Philadelphia, Calgary and the New York Islanders at home on October 7, 9 and 11 respectively before heading to Colorado on October 13 to face the Avalanche.
