The Ducks will open their 2016-17 home schedule this Sunday, Oct. 23 at Honda Center versus the Vancouver Canucks (5 p.m.). Ducks fans are encouraged to arrive early for the Anaheim Ducks' Home Opener, particularly to take part in the Ducks White Carpet festivities in support of Hockey Fights Cancer month, beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Honda Center's south side. Players will greet fans as they walk the white carpet and will be interviewed on stage by Ducks host Kent French.
All fans in attendance are encouraged to be in their seats by 4:45 p.m. for the opening sequence and player introductions and will receive a free Ducks poster courtesy of FOX Sports Prime Ticket on exit following the game. Fans are invited to make Anaheim Ducks Home Opener festivities interactive by using the hashtags #DucksHomeOpener and #NHLDucks on social media platforms. In addition, the Anaheim Ducks Foundation will conduct the first 50/50 raffle of the regular season with proceeds supporting and facilitating programs that create positive change for children and families throughout Southern California. Please visit sections 212, 224, 310, 413 and 430 or find a roaming seller on the concourse to purchase raffle tickets (sellers will be wearing "50/50 Raffle" bright blue shirts).
To further support the Anaheim Ducks Foundation, the Ducks will be selling a commemorative series Surprise Puck set featuring four limited edition Anaheim Ducks pucks. Surprise Puck #1 will highlight Opening Night and will be on sale for $30 at section 213 prior to this Sunday's matchup versus Vancouver. Fans will pick an individually wrapped puck at random and receive either a Ducks player- autographed commemorative puck or - for 23 lucky fans - a surprise Ducks player-autographed orange puck. The lucky winners of the Surprise Puck Sale will receive an Anaheim Ducks autographed jersey by the player selected. One lucky fan who picks the Southern California Helpful Honda Dealers blue puck will win the opportunity to ride the Zamboni during the first intermission of that night's game.
Following Sunday's contest versus the Canucks, the Ducks will head to San Jose for one game against the Sharks followed by a two game homestand against the Nashville Predators (Wednesday, Oct. 26) and the Columbus Blue Jackets (Friday, Oct. 28).
Individual game tickets can be purchased through AnaheimDucks.com/tickets, by phone with Ticketmaster at (714) 703-2545 or in person at the Honda Center Box Office. Tickets will be sold at the box office on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition, all tickets purchased direct through the Ducks receive free TicketFast delivery (ability to print tickets at home).
