Ducks Assign Wagner to San Diego

The Ducks have assigned forward Chris Wagner to the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim’s primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Wagner, 24 (5/27/91), appeared in one game for Anaheim this season, going scoreless on one shot, Oct. 16 vs. Colorado. Wagner appeared in four preseason games with Anaheim, scoring 2-0=2 points.

Selected in the fifth round (122nd overall) of the 2010 NHL Draft, Wagner made his NHL debut with Anaheim in 2014-15, going scoreless with two PIM in nine games. Wagner also appeared in his first two Stanley Cup Playoff games, going scoreless in the First Round vs. Winnipeg. The 6-0, 195 pound forward scored 15-13=28 points with 65 PIM in 48 games with Norfolk (AHL) in 2014-15, setting a career high in goals and matching a career high in points.
